Romería de Santa Águeda 2014 - Catral, Vega Baja, Costa Blanca, Spain

Declared a "Festival of Provincial Tourist Interest", the "Romería of Santa Agueda" in Catral is one of the oldest traditions and emblematic of the province of Alicante and Valencia. Every year on 4 and February hundreds of locals and visitors gather at the Hermitage to enjoy this traditional fiesta.

9.00am - Mass at the Ermita de Santa Agueda.

9.00pm - Romeria (procession) with the statue of Santa Agueda from the Ermita to the Iglesia de Catral.

Wednesday 5 February 2014

9.00am - Mass at the Ermita de Santa Agueda.

11.00am - Mass in honour of Santa Agueda at the Iglesia de los Santos Juanes de Catral, followed by the romeria with the statue of Santa Agueda to the Ermita.
