Festival of the Grape in Novelda

Novelda on the Costa Blanca in Spain will hold its first Festival of the Grape on Sunday 15 December in the Central old town square. Go along and enjoy the best local grapes from our land and check out the quality products from desserts to wine and fruit to vegetables, as well as a selection of handmade artisan goods, performances, workshops, children's attractions ...and much more!

The programme of events will start from 10.00am:

10.00am - In the Plaça Vella, opening the first Fair Grape.

11.30am - Inauguration of the first Fair Grape.

12.15pm - Opening of the Exhibition: Raïm at the Gomez Tortosa Cultural Centre. A journey through the history of Novelda’s the economic pillars of the city: the cultivation of grapes.

1.00pm - In the Plaça Vella, Wine Competition Embolsada . "The Raïm d'or" Edition 2013: Variety Aledo.

4.00pm - Attractions for the children. (Until 8.00pm).

5.00pm - Zumba by the Zumba Claudia group.

6.00pm - Desserts Workshop with grapes for children by Raul Asencio.

7.00pm - Batucada to encourage the fair by Batukamen.
